Farmhouse Trestle Table Made from native Pembrokeshire oak the Blodwen table is joined using traditional mortise and tenon joints that are pegged together with oak dowels. The base of the trestle slots together and is held in place with sandblasted stainless steel brackets and bolts. The corner of the legs has a hand carved stop chamfer commonly found in traditional Welsh farmhouse furniture. One surface is sand blasted to expose the natural grain, then finished with a protective layer of clear matt lacquer, whilst the flip side is gleaming satin white - a contemporary take on this classic Welsh piece. Simple self-assembly (instructions included - no tools required).  |
